Our Story

WAPCEF (West African Poor Children Educational Fund, Inc.) was founded with a simple yet powerful belief: every child deserves access to quality education and adequate healthcare, regardless of their economic circumstances.

Incorporated as a non-profit organization in Nigeria, WAPCEF operates across West Africa with an initial focus on supporting underprivileged children and families in Nigeria. We recognized a critical gap in our communities—while some children have every opportunity to thrive, many face insurmountable barriers to education and healthcare access.

Our founders came together with a shared vision: to break the cycle of poverty through sustained investment in education and timely support for health-related financial crises. Today, WAPCEF stands as a beacon of hope for thousands of families across the region.
